Title: Tractor Driver / Game Worker

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.30pm

Responsible to: Game Keeper

The Shadwell Estate Company Ltd are recruiting a Tractor person to support the game department. The successful applicant will be joining a team of 7 people who are responsible for managing our 6500 acre private south Norfolk shooting estate.

We are not able to offer accommodation with this role.

Tasks and Activities:

Tractor driving, spraying topping, grain carting with a Bailey Blower Trailer

Supporting the game department in any of their tasks

Maintaining ground and bird cover

Occasional pest control

Maintaining bird enclosures and general fencing

Work relating to rearing birds, moving, feeding and pen maintenance

All other ad-hoc duties as may be required by the job role

Working in accordance with health & safety procedures and protocols

Work Experience/Educational Requirements:

Previous work experience with tools, tractors and machinery is essential

Tractor handling and competency certificate

Chainsaw certificate an advantage

Shotgun and firearms certificate

You will need to be a team player with a flexible attitude

The position will require you to be able to work long hours for which you will be paid overtime
